A tea party with Mrs. Crumpet is truly a wonderful affair! Tea parties are great for any occasion. Birthday parties, day care centers, pre-schools, brownie and girl scout troops, and kindergarten classes have all enjoyed Mrs. Crumpet's Tea Parties.
A Perfectly Planned Party
Mrs. Crumpet comes to your home to set up one hour before the guests are to arrive.
The dress-up tea party lasts approximately two and a half hours. Parents supply apple juice, tea sandwiches, cake, cake plates, and napkins.
Extravagant Fashion
Mrs. Crumpet provides lovely dresses, high heel shoes, elegant jewelry, hats, purses, gloves, feather boas, mink stoles, shawls and hair accessories for the finishing touch. Boys are welcome! Top hats, bow ties, long ties, vests, and sport coats are available. Mrs. Crumpet professionally applies make-up. Mustaches for the boys can be painted by request. The young ladies and gentlemen admire themselves in a full length mirror while music plays softly in the background.
The special "Birthday Girl" may choose her favorite gown. Mrs. Crumpet's wedding gowns, adorned with bridal veils and silk flower bouquets, are often a favorite choice.
Let the fashion show begin! Mrs. Crumpet teaches the girls how to model. After our practice session, the girls do their own elaborate fashion show for parents and guests. Mrs. Crumpet takes each girl's photo as a special memento of this exciting occasion. Mrs. Crumpet also rehearses a song with the girls which they sing for the guests at the fashion show.
Tea Time
Next it is time for a refreshing "Tea Party." Mrs. Crumpet provides real china, demitasse cups and saucers, and a china teapot filled with fresh flowers. Mrs. Crumpet decorates the table with jewelry, fancy miniature shoes, and purses. Miniature silver teapots at each place setting hold name cards for each guest. A doll-size hand-decorated hat is placed at each place setting--gifts for the girls to keep. The birthday girl receives a special gift from Mrs. Crumpet along with a personalized handmade birthday card.
Mrs. Crumpet teaches the girls etiquette and manners in a very fun way. Entertaining games are played at the tea table. Mrs. Crumpet has a wrapped gift for a special game.
